What are Front and Back Lit Channel Letters?
Front and Back Lit Channel Letters, are also called dual-lit or Channel Letters or Combination-lit channel letters. These illuminated business signs are three-dimensional signs and logos constructed with a translucent face and back, with LED lights installed inside them. When the sign is turned on, Face Lit and Back Lit channel letters shines from the front and also creates glowing halo from the back of the signage.

Direct Mount or Flush Mount Installation
In this installation method, the Front and back lit Lit Channel letters are mounted directly to the wall with standoffs for the halo gap using spacers and threaded screws. The spacers are usually 1 or 2 inches in length.
Raceway Installation
In this installation method, the Face and Back Lit Channel letters are mounted directly on a Raceway directly which is a rectangular metal box. This type of installation simplifys installs and minimizes wall penetrations and holes to the installation surface. The raceway also contains the electrical wiring and power supply. The raceways can also be painted to match the color of your building. Raceway will add additional cost to the signage.
Backer Panel Mount Installation
In this installation method, the illuminated signs are mounted on a backer panel and then attached to the building facade. Backer panel will add extra cost to the signage. Backer panel creates a consistent reflective surface and a clean architectural line with high-contrast halos.
