Single-Sided

Single-sided light box signs have one illuminated face panel. The cabinet mounts flush to a building wall or monument structure with the face facing outward. Double-Sided

Double-sided light box signs are suspended or pole-mounted, with illuminated face panels on both sides of the cabinet. Both faces display the same or different graphics. This configuration is standard for pylon signs, monument signs, and any application where the sign needs to be readable from two opposing directions — such as a sign perpendicular to a road, visible to traffic in both directions.

Acrylic Face

A standard acrylic face panel is inset into the cabinet frame. Graphics are digitally printed directly onto the acrylic or applied as a vinyl overlay. The translucent acrylic diffuses the internal LED light evenly across the face, producing a bright, uniform glow. These commercial cabinet signs are durable, weatherproof, and straightforward to replace when graphics need updating.

Push-Through Acrylic

Push-through acrylic uses a routed face panel with cut-out letters or shapes filled with a second layer of colored acrylic that protrudes slightly beyond the face surface. When the sign is illuminated, the pushed-through acrylic elements glow with a distinct, dimensional quality. The colored inserts read as raised and lit against the surrounding face. This is the premium face panel option for light box signs, combining the illuminated cabinet format with a dimensional element that gives the sign more visual depth than a flat printed face.

Cut-Through Acrylic

Cut-through acrylic removes material completely from the face panel. The letters or shapes are routed all the way through, leaving open voids in the face. The internal LED light projects directly through the cut areas, creating sharp, high-contrast illuminated shapes against a darker face panel background. Cut-through faces produce a bold, graphic effect with strong contrast between the lit areas and the face material. Best suited for simple, high-contrast designs where maximum brightness through the cut areas is the priority.
